Renegade Craft Fair

This weekend my sister in law, Kristi, had her own booth at the Renegade Craft Fair in downtown Austin! Levi and I stopped by on Sunday and bought some of her engraved ornaments as well as a watercolor from another booth! Kristi makes these really unique deer antler/dried floral arrangements that come ready to be hung on the wall or to decorate a bookshelf. She also sells a friend's banner creations and they are both always releasing new work! Check out her website, her facebook, and her instagram for more info on how to purchase. This was my first year attending an event at Fair Market and I can't wait to go again!

After we shopped a bit, I spotted this wall a few streets over and knew we had to go take pictures of it! What are the odds that we would find this Walking Dead reference on the same day the mid season finale was premiering?! FATE.

Had to do a few outfit pictures! I wasn't even wearing anything that cute- it's just this new hat of mine makes it LOOK like I'm dressing cute. I love it.

Muir Beach Overlook

As I avoid reading about inferential statistics this afternoon, I thought I'd post another set of our California vacation pictures! This was our transition day where we drove from Lake Tahoe to Mount Tamalpais (just across the bride from San Francisco). We crossed through Napa Valley on our trip and stopped at one winery to do a champagne tasting!

Wine and cheese can never be a wrong choice!

The sky was really hazy in some places because of the fires all across California. It was super sad! Below is Hwy 1. This stretch of Hwy 1 is incredibly curvy- I thought I was going to die (from nausea). The end result of arriving at Muir Beach Overlook for sunset was worth it though!

Muir Beach Overlook:

The California coast always surprises me. It never fails to feel like a completely different world.

Graduation Pictures | Maggie

It's been a while since I have shared any of my portrait sessions here! I don't do photo shoots neeeearly as much anymore, but occasionally I still shoot graduation pictures and stuff for friends so I like to share some of my favorites! Maggie is graduating from Texas State in a couple of weeks and I was so excited that she asked me to take her graduation portraits. 1) Maggie is gorgeous 2) She is up for anything 3) I had this new location I was dying to try out!

After the October floods this year, the Blanco River settled down with a whole influx of white rocks around it, as well as some really cool tide pools and driftwood among them. While it's sad to see the devastation caused by this flooding, in some of the more secluded areas the change has been really beautiful for the river bank! Here are some of my favorite images from the evening!

The floodwaters had pushed this tree completely sideways, which created a canopy effect around this pool of water. It was GORGEOUS.

The water was so minty blue!

Favorites ahead!

Maggie, the naturalest beauty!

I loved making these pictures with Maggie! Hope you enjoyed :)
